Youth Advocacy for Wetlands Highlighted at “Man and Nature” Summer School in Albania

From September 11-13, the Mediterranean Alliance for Wetlands participated in the “Man and Nature” summer school in Narta, Albania, educating Balkan students about environmental conservation, highlighting the importance of Youth Advocacy. The event featured interactive workshops where experts discussed the threats facing the Narta Lagoon, a vital ecosystem currently endangered by proposed developments.

This workshop equipped 20 students with advocacy tools to protect the Zvernec Peninsula in the lagoon. This training is part of the Alliance’s commitment to fostering a new generation of environmental advocates dedicated to preserving Mediterranean wetlands.
